My personal passion for scatter rugs was well documented on this website here, right here and right here. In fact, it’s come something with me for as long as i will recall… whenever I ended up being a kid, we had these massive cushions that acted as flooring cushions that we’d use to rest our very own head-on the ground, or relax on for a nap. We even got these large factors to the drive-in flicks in which my dad would take open the back of his Bronco and we’d recline in comfort and see the flick.
Those pillows Momma made by herself, of carpeting remnants. From the operating my fingertips through shag absentmindedly while you’re watching The Smurfs, cuddling up with one whenever reading a book and when while I really was little, snuggling abreast of one with a mug of hot chocolate, sobbing because used to don’t see my method (and thinking that i need to check really grown-up using my steaming mug in my hands). We have a huge amount of memories where those massive brown pillows are included in credentials.
Whenever I have my beginning as a grown-up I got myself cheaper sheets, cheaper bathroom towels, low priced dishes but I splurged on an ivory 2 inch shag toss carpet. I’d lay on the ground with my new puppy, Virgil, and work my fingers during that carpet. I loved that rug.
